WHAT TO EXPECT: Cebu is one of the best places to visit in the Philippines. The island is surrounded by beautiful beaches, coral atolls, and rich fishing grounds, just 130 kilometers southwest of Cebu City and about three hours private ride, the Kawasan falls is located inside the mountains of Baranggay Matutinao, Badian. Kawasan falls Cebu is a peaceful natural place where you can enjoy many waterfalls of natural spring water located near southern tip of Cebu, Philippines. A gentle hush of rushing ice cool water….all this and more in Badian’s Kawasan Falls! From the entrance you will have to walk uphill for about 1.5km to get to the first water falls, a three layered waterfall, the first one is the largest of the three, and is usually the most crowded. An uphill climb for fifteen minutes will take you to the second falls, and another, and another. It is one of the popular tourist destinations in the province. Canyoning tours are offered upstream of the Kawasan Falls, where the Matutinao River flows through secluded canyon.

Divers out there can experience the thrill of sardine run activity. Don’t forget the snorkelers, too. The best time to watch Sardine Run is between June and July. Experience the school of fish swimming together in one direction, teeming up with fellow sardines moving together in unison. You can see different types of fishes, sea turtles and other aquatic animals. You surely enjoy this underwater escapade especially for the fun and experience!
